A Note About Our Cleaning Fees: Thank you for supporting our local business! When you stay with us, you are supporting local families at work. We think everyone deserves a decent living wage, and we make sure to set the rates and fees so that our cleaners earn a living wage in beautiful Sonoma County.

Parking: There is parking for a maximum of 3 vehicles – 1 in the covered carport closest to the house and 2 small or 1 larger vehicle on the driveway, tandem and at an incline. Backing out of the carport and driveway may be tricky for some – please look at the photos! RVs, trailers, and campers are prohibited, per the Sonoma County Vacation Rental Ordinance.

Kitchen: In addition to the usual appliances, Summerwood’s kitchen includes a dishwasher, expresso/cappuccino maker, and lots of extras.

Bathrooms: The upstairs bathroom includes a shower over bathtub and the downstairs bathroom has a shower.

Location: Summerwood is in a cozy residential neighborhood. It is a mix of permanent residents and vacation rentals, families, working folks, and visitors. To honor this balance, we ask guests to park in the driveway and respect the quiet hours in addition to general family-friendly, residential neighborhood expectations. Thank you for helping to continue the tradition of a mutually beneficial relationship between vacation rentals and local community!

Road to Summerwood: There are multiple ways to get to Summerwood and some are narrow one-lane curvy hillside roads - fully paved and no special vehicle is required. We provide detailed written driving directions with the best way to get to the house to confirmed guests.

Great secluded and quiet spot away from the city and within a short drive from Bay Area. Beautiful place with all required amenities within the house. Hot tub and fire pit were the highlight of our trip. Exactly what we expected, it was a lot of fun for the family of two. Thanks for hosting us.-This review was written under prior management of the house but is accurate.

We are big fans of weekend getaways in Guerneville and the surrounding area - this has easily become one of our top places to stay! The home is beautiful and situated at the top of a quiet hill, in what feels like a private neighborhood. The outdoor area is exceptional and the hot tub is divine. Highly recommended!-This review was written under prior management of the house but is accurate.

This place is adorable and homey feeling. It’s got a lot of cool, industrial furniture and a really nice hot tub. Very close to town and a place called Johnson’s Beach (which is not a sandy beach but a rocky riverside with kayaking etc). Overall we loved the stay, was super quiet, peaceful, and great for a family.-This review was written under prior management of the house but is accurate.

The cabin was perfect for our group. The streets leading to the cabin were narrow and the driveway into the house was pretty steep as well. Keep this in mind with a larger vehicle. The outside area was our favorite spot. It was all along the side of the house and was covered in greenery. Would stay here again for sure.-This review was written under prior management of the house but is accurate.

The house was great! Clean, all the amenities needed to enjoy wine country, and a great deck. The driveway and the drive up the Mountain can get tight but after a few practice times, it ended up being just fine. I would recommend!-This review was written under prior management of the house but is accurate.

Lovely spot. It felt like camping in the woods but was also close enough to walk to downtown. The secluded hot tub was great and the skylights in the bedrooms were such a great detail.-This review was written under prior management of the house but accurate.

We loved the overall feel of the "cabin in the woods". We spent a lot of time in the hot tub and on the deck. My son even loved playing Terreria on the playstation during the day the air quality was too bad to go outside. Everything we needed was there and we had a very nice, relaxing time and would definitely consider renting the same cabin in the future.-This review was written under prior management of the house but accurate.

The best part of it is the outdoor space.

We had a nice time at this Airbnb. The best part of it is the outdoor space. There are multiple levels in the backyard with plenty of space for outdoor time. Beautiful Redwood in the backyard as well. Lots of outdoor seating options and nice to have gas fire pit. Gas grill is large and works well. Hot tub was clean and had lots of features. The other main pro is the location was quiet area but close enough to town to get to easily. The only cons and they are minor ones is that the roads and driveway leading up to the house are narrow and steep and driveway is very steep. It is a hilly area, part of the charm just worth being aware of. Overall, we stay at a lot of airbnbs, was satisfied, would stay here.-This review was written under prior management of the house but accurate.

We just finished a great 3 night stay and would love to come back again! The best features for us were:- the lovely backyard with a hot tub, picnic table and patio seating area- the well stocked kitchen including a good supply of spices, sugar, etc.- plentiful supplies like towels, paper goods and shampoos- very quiet location- walking distance into Guerneville and to Johnson’s beach (though the walk back is somewhat steep, it still only took about 10 minutes)It’s important to know that the roads up to the house are extremely narrow and steep. Other reviewers mentioned this, but it was even more than I expected. If you have a very large vehicle you might have a challenge fitting on some of the roads and the driveway.-This review was written under prior management of the house but accurate. Also, the skylight in the master bedroom can’t be covered, so in the morning the room was really bright, making it difficult to sleep in.But other than these couple of minor things, we loved our stay and had a great time!-This review was written under prior management of the house but accurate.

This house surpassed expectations! Although the hill coming up to house seems a bit crazy and the homes are on top of each other, this home makes the best use of its space! You have great privacy in the backyard, especially the hot tub (which was amazing). The home is small And quaint decorated wonderfully. The sky lights in each bedroom are an added touch and was wonderful, especially the one day it rained, it was relaxing to listen and watch the rain come down. We walked the hill up and down a few times during our stay and it was not as terrible as it seems, as long as you are expecting a bit of a workout. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook in the home each day, and shampoo and conditioner were provided which was great since I forgot mine! Guerneville downtown is wonderful and fun to walk around, Korbel Cellars is close, along with a multitude of other wineries and breweries. Location is just fantastic and would definitely stay here again!-This review was written under prior management of the house but accurate.

Definitely worth it, it was stocked with what we needed (we LOVED the espresso machine), the outdoor area was huge and gorgeous because it felt like you were hidden in the woods despite neighbors being close by, the walk to town was quick, and the beds were super comfortable!! I wish we were closer to the river but the hosts provided their suggested river spots and driving to further beaches was no problem each day.
