Full remodel!!! The Lifted Lady - formerly known as Moon River's End - is one of the most striking 100-year-old gals you'll stay at! She's keeping up with the times with a full face-lift, literally! The house was lifted and fully remodeled in 2022/23 - sleek kitchen with stainless appliances and large island, Smart TV and devices, streaming apps, refreshed inventory, keyless entry, new 7-person hot tub, solar, battery wall, A/C, and more. The enlarged bathroom has a glorious walk-in shower with rain-style fixture, loads of light, and custom tilework. This bungalow has style!

Flooded with sunlight - every bedroom connects to the spacious living and dining areas. The modern kitchen is open for all to help cook, hang around and joke, grab a snack or glass of wine. Dine inside or step outside to the gas BBQ and private patio. With the substantial hot tub and large seating and lounge area, you'll have a hard time deciding whether to stay here or exploring world renowned wineries and prized recreation area. If you stay long enough - you can do it all!

Forgot coffee? Don't worry - there's an awesome coffee shop right next door! Cash/Zelle only, but well worth the trip to a nearby ATM. Fife Creek Antiques is your other neighbor and has fantastic finds. You are practically on Main Street, Guerneville, and can walk to everything!

Know Before You Book:

Maximum Occupancy and Quiet Hours: The maximum occupancy at The Lifted Lady is 6 people. Quiet hours are from 9:00 pm until 7:00 am. Outdoor amplified sound is prohibited at any time.

Parking: There is parking for 2 cars in the driveway and a couple more on the street in front of the house. Street parking directly in front of the house is also used by customers of the coffee shop next door. RVs, trailers and campers are prohibited, per the Sonoma County Vacation Rental Ordinance.

Bed Sizes: First Bedroom: Queen bed; Second Bedroom: Queen bed; Third Bedroom: Queen bed.

Heat Source: Central heat plus a wall-mounted electric fireplace in the living room.

Location: The Lifted Lady is in the heart of downtown Guerneville. This is fabulous for walking to restaurants, shops, bars and wine tasting rooms, and Johnson's Beach, but this also means guests can expect more of the urban experience than homes in residential neighborhoods or in the woods.

The neighbor to the left is Country Coffee - a (fabulous) coffee shop that usually opens at 10 or 11 am. It generally closes at 3 pm daily and there is a seating area behind the coffee shop where patrons enjoy their beverages, talk, play guitar, let dogs run, and sometimes smoke. The neighbor on the right is a locally-loved antique shop with varying hours. Other neighbors include a couple hair salons and a massage studio. Along the back property line, all the neighbors are residents.

There's a parking lot across the street from The Lifted Lady and locally unhoused folks are known to hang out there and the health center down the road. This has not been an issue for the vast majority of guests, but we feel responsible to share this information before you make a reservation.

Work from HERE: The desk in the living room has access to outlets and view out the front porch.
Advertised Wifi Speed: 1 GBps.

Stairs: There is a set of stairs from the parking area to the front porch and a second off the side porch to the yard and hot tub. Both are behind locked gates. Once inside the house, everything is one level.

Fencing: The yard is fully fenced.

Security Cameras: There are 4 exterior security cameras around the perimeter of the property: Front entry stairs, driveway, side service corridor, rear service deck, there is a Google Nest video doorbell. There is no monitoring of the main yard space for guest privacy.

A/C: The Lifted Lady now has A/C! There are also screens on all the windows and sliding door.

Proximity to wineries: There are several wine tasting rooms within walking distance of the house in downtown Guerneville and more than you can count within a short drive.

Nearest River Beach: Johnson's Beach is the closest river beach, an easy .2 mile walk, and all around fabulous place to enjoy the river, rent boats, inner tubes, beach umbrellas, and grab a beer and bite to eat - when they are open for the season. Otherwise, you can wander the beach, but the boats and concession stand will not be available. Dogs are not allowed at Johnson's Beach when they are open for the season.

Nearest Ocean Beach: There are many ocean beaches along the Sonoma coast, but one of the closest is Goat Rock State Beach just south of Jenner - 14.7 miles from the house. One of the beaches at Goat Rock is dog-friendly.

The Lifted Lady was the perfect place to spend quality downtime with our family. The home is beautifully remodeled with modern and luxurious amenities that made our stay comfortable and relaxing (the heated floors in the kitchen/bathroom were a bonus). We had everything we needed to cook meals in and were just minutes away from fantastic restaurants that we enjoyed during our stay. The host(s) have two binders at the home that provide detailed info about everything you need to know about the property and surrounding area (very helpful). The Lifted Lady is truly a gem in Guerneville! Walkable to all of the shops and restaurants, this place is right in the heart of everything. The property itself is incredibly well-done for a vacation rental, not just a lady, this is a queen! The kitchen is stocked with everything you could want to cook even a Thanksgiving meal for 6 (or more). The outside grounds are also very nice, fabulous grill and patio furniture, and a wonderful hot tub that comfortably seats 4-6. Lots of a nice high-end touches like heated floors in the primary bathroom and kitchen as well to take the chill off in the morning. 11/10 would stay again. This is one of the few rentals I would just want to live in, it's truly a home away from home. -via Vrbo

This has to be one of the nicest rentals in Guerneville. The home has been well renovated. Little things like plenty of hooks in the bathroom for towels. Having AC when it gets hot during the day is amazing! The location can’t be beat. You’re in the middle of everything but the actual street isn’t that busy despite the house being in town. Pictures are accurate in listing. It is so close to everything in town and walkable to the beach. Good communication via text when any questions came up. We did not get to use the outdoor grill but the kitchen was one of the best stocked kitchens. We were able to easily cook and have meals at home for part of the stay. Not only was there plenty of cookware and dinnerware but they also had supplies to clean up after. And I should mention it was so helpful to have a binder with a guide on how to use the upgraded induction stove top! Came in handy :) It is a Beautifully remodeled home with very comfortable beds too in a great location. It is a more than enough space for the 5 people in our group. Having the extra half bath was very helpful too! Been telling all of our friends about the lifted lady! -via Vrbo

This property is so nice. Every aspect was well thought out. My college friends and I (now in our 50s) were having a little reunion and we kept being amazed at the interior design choices of the space, which were all so "beyond expectations". My girlfriends and I do a ladies trip every year. This was by far the nicest place we have stayed in. It is perfectly remodeled and was super clean and stylish. We had a great time and would definitely come back!!

WOW WOW WOW!! Still can't get over how much we enjoyed staying at Moon River's End! Upon arrival everything was spotless. The decor is inviting and really gives off that Russian River feel. The location couldn't be better, was able to enjoy many local coffee shops and restaurants and the convenience to Safeway was an extra added bonus. We did not have to get into the car once! The features we enjoyed most was the private backyard feel with hot-tub, and spending time on the front porch enjoying the views and friendly neighbors.So many memories!! We can not wait to return! This place was great! Had everything we needed and host was very communicative.The homeless next door were quite a ways down and didnt bother us at all. Guerneville overall seemed transient, much more so than I remember on past visits.The location was nice to be downtown and easily walkable to food, but next time I think I'd prefer to stay in more of a residential neighborhood and on another side of the river (no fault of the house).We had a great vacation and access to the river and beaches were great. Day tripping to other areas of the river, coast, and wine country were easy as well.The vacation home agency was wonderful! Thank you!

I had the pleasure of staying in this fun and cozy home after Burningman to decompress and come back to a peaceful and serene setting. The house was absolutely perfect with comfortable beds, an awesome jacuzzi, and a cozy living room. We had a total of 4 people and it cold easily accommodate a few more. The location is very convenient to everything you need in Guerneville and a 2-5 min walk to the best restaurants. I loved my stay here with my friends and recommend it to anyone that wants to experience Guerneville and everything it has to offer. Also a very easy walk to the river!

Moon River's End is a fantastic getaway in the heart of Guerneville. The location is perfect, as it is walking distance from the river, all the shops and restaurants of downtown, and few fun nightspots if you would like to go out. The house is spacious, and has a fantastic kitchen, front patio, and private yard with a jacuzzi. It is also very close by local wineries, and Armstrong Woods, which is an excellent hiking/picnic spot.
