Description

It's alway game day or movie night at The Grove with their large screen projector TV! The Grove also offers a world of privacy and views of redwood-covered ridgetops and redwood forests. Perched on a hill above the Russian River, The Grove is an amenity-loaded haven for your Sonoma County stay.

Is BBQing your thing? The Grove has a lovely back deck equipped with a large gas grill, outdoor dining table, bistro seating, wine barrel gas fire pit, all arranged to maximize the redwood and partial river views. Or, do you want to watch the big game? The home theatre system, with 120 inch projector screen and surround sound, is great for watching sports and movies. Looking forward to a soak in the Hot Tub? Climb into the secluded spa and look up and you will see how The Grove got its name: you are surrounded by a fairy ring of towering 175 foot redwood trees that lead your gaze to the stars.

Is Gourmet Coffee your passion? Treat yourself to a European style espresso with a Nespresso pod, a cup of French Press drip or Pour Over freshly ground beans. Looking to explore? Both the Russian River and the town of Monte Rio are within walking distance. The Sonoma Coast, numerous Russian River Valley wineries and the neighboring towns of Guerneville, Duncan's Mills and Occidental are all a short drive away.

The Grove is a delightful property with two levels of ample living space, perfect for groups that want a little space to spread out.

Upper Level (entry level): The entry level has the main kitchen, living and dining room, two bedrooms, one bathroom, and the main deck. The kitchen is well equipped and well-stocked with everything needed to cook. The living/dining room has a comfortable sofa and chairs and the dining table seats 6. Sets of French doors lead out to the deck. The upstairs master bedroom has a queen bed and en suite bath with shower (the only upstairs bathroom). The second bedroom has a queen bed and charming French doors that lead to the side deck - the perfect place for a morning cup of coffee.

Lower Level: The lower level has a living area, kitchenette (no stove), deck, bedroom and bathroom. The lower living area has cable TV and a double sleeper sofa. The large bedroom has a king bed. The downstairs bathroom is lovely, with both a walk-in shower and a soaking tub.

Know Before You Book

Maximum Occupancy and Quiet Hours: The maximum occupancy at The Grove is 6. Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm until 7:00 am. Outdoor amplified sound is prohibited at any time.

Parking: Parking is permitted for a maximum of 2 vehicles in the carport. There is no additional parking nearby. RVs, trailers and campers are prohibited, per the Sonoma County Vacation Rental Ordinance. IF YOUR VEHILCE HAS EXCEPTIONALLY LOW CLEARANCE, PLEASE NOTE: Access to the parking deck requires that vehicles have at least 5" clearance (less than a typical small sedan). Smaller vehicles with very low clearance, such as certain sports cars, may need to park parallel to the road. Large vehicles with low clearance will not be able to park at the house. RVs, trailers, and campers are prohibited, per the Sonoma County Vacation Rental Ordinance.

Security Cameras: For the safety of guests and the home, there are security cameras outside facing the carport area.

Bed Sizes: Upstairs Bedroom 1 (with en suite bath): Queen Bed, Upstairs Bedroom 2: Queen Bed, Downstairs Bedroom: King Bed, Downstairs Living Area: Double Sofa Bed

Heat Source: Electric Baseboard Heaters and Wood Stove in Living Area, Wall Heaters in Bedrooms. Firewood is provided for the Wood Stove. The Wood Stove is the best source of heat for the upstairs during cold months.

Outdoor Firepit: The outdoor gas firepit is not available during the winter/rainy season.

Stairs: There are 38 stairs - with three landings - from the parking area to the front door. The house is two stories with interior and exterior stairs between the levels.

Work from HERE: Separate from the crowd and work in the lower living room looking out onto the back deck and redwood trees.

Overall stay was relaxing, peaceful, and very tranquil. The house was equipped with all needs had very helpful instructions on all electronics and best of all had Netflix, Amazon prime, Apple TV. Etc to be able to watch movies and relax thru our stay. Enjoyed our stay with our pets which was awesome since home was set up for them huge plus! Overall grateful for our stay. -via Airbnb

Enjoyed our weekend stay here. The place was as described, and we were able to utilize the indoor fireplace, grill on the balcony, and the hot tub. The place was easy to find using the GPS directions and we were provided the access codes beforehand. The hosts were responsive via text message for all our questions. Beautiful, private space tucked in the redwoods. Very small road leading in and out, so drivers should be alert. We cooked a whole Thanksgiving meal in the kitchen (only had to bring a huge baking pan for Turkey) - the kitchen had the rest of the utensils needed! Having the extra fridge downstairs was key! One small gripe: Although the owners provided a thoughtful and detailed explanation of how to use the TV -- the universal remote was clunky and the detailed steps never worked. Took us 20 minutes each time to hit the right combination of buttons, and to change the Youtube channel or move to a different streaming service took another 20 minutes. A puzzle in and of itself! Nevertheless, we'd come back in a heartbeat.-via Airbnb

Photos don’t do this place justice - it feels like a cozy treehouse and has a beautiful view of the woods. Everything about this house was thoughtful. The projector was easy to use (and huge!!!). There were brief, clear instructions for everything, including the fireplace. Every light switch was labeled so you knew what they did. There were flashlights in every room. The home was very clean and had all the basics - even cute towels specifically for guests’ dogs! There was plenty of firewood. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!-via Airbnb

House nice. Parking a challenge

The house is very nice but located on a very narrow street with difficult parking. We had two larger cars. Parking is a narrow platform and turning radius was a challenge to say the least. The property description should include this information. We would not have stayed here if we had known. Nothing wrong with the house, just would have appreciated knowing about the parking challenge in advance since we had two vans. Also, the beds were a bit too soft.-via Vrbo

The Grove is a very homey place - our adult children really enjoyed it as well !!! Lots of streaming channels and the big screen projection was awesome !! Only thing we thought was a tad unusual is the hall bath is one level down but it wasn’t too inconvenient. They also accommodated for our extra fur babies which definitely is one of the reasons that we’ll come back. We wished that we could’ve stayed longer but definitely will plan for that next time !!! Might be my favorite airbnb ever. We used the lower flat for my infant daughter and she slept better there than at home. We were able to use the huge screen to watch movies even while she slept -- basically no noise travels down. We made huge meals with the well stocked kitchen, loved the deck and view, hot tub was a marvel. Only negative is the road, which is super windy and one way and didn't feel safe to walk on so we didn't get as many walks as we would have wanted.-via Airbnb

This home is absolutely amazing. It has all the things you want in a Forest home! Fireplace check hot tub check outdoor space double check beautiful kitchen check check check. The best part about this home is that on top of a beautiful face you also get an entire downstairs suite. Not a mother-in-law suite with a small kitchen, but instead a second home. The house is beautifully located high up on the hillside. The road is narrow getting to and from, but it is relatively close to Monte Rio attractions. The only bathroom upstairs is in a bedroom, so that is something to consider, and the downstairs kitchenette has no oven (only an induction stove top). But it is serene, and there are a lot of amenities. We really enjoyed our stay.-via Airbnb

We loved this house in the trees it was so tranquil. It was layed out so 2 small families could share this home 1 upstairs 1 downstairs. The beds were very comfortable the kitchen was well stocked. The theatre size viewing screen was a delight for a movie evening. We used the bbq on the the deck for quick dinners and roasted marshmallows for s'mores over the firepit. We enjoyed many excellent nearby wineries, tried river floatubing remember to bring your own tubes or rent some. Monte Rio beach was our go to beach with free parking and dogs allowed. We made some lasting memories with our family here in the Grove house in the trees we will be back.-via Vrbo

We had a great stay at the Grove. House was very well appointed and kitchen well equipped and had mostly everything you’ll need. Great deck and comfy beds and chairs, could use newer pillows. My only criticism would be that the bedrooms that had carpet could use some new carpeting or flooring. It smelled very musty in the main bedroom and downstairs bedroom. This was a lovely place for a girls weekend. The kitchen had everything we need, and the hot tub under the trees was a hit. Based on some of the other reviews and the description of the place, I thought we'd be closer to the river (like, able to at least hear it), but we were quite a way's up from it, and there was some noise from the road below. My family of 4 came here for spring break and wow! The house is more beautiful in person. The details to the decor were amazing. The furniture pieces including beds were comfortable. Hot tub was perfect temperature when we arrived too. The individual heaters in every room were great since we came during a week when it was cooler and the house warms up nicely. The two decks are beautiful and perfect for outdoors when it’s warmer. The narrow windy road leading to the house is a bit daunting but so long as you drive during the day it’s good. Follow the directions to the house provided by the manager for sure! I had to use the vacuum and only thing there is that is a non pleasant smell comes out from it. Maybe it’s the vacuum bag? The house was well stocked with cleaning and bathroom supplies too. The downstairs area with second kitchenette was super cute. We didn’t use it but I enjoyed looking at how it was decorated. Communication with the property manager was efficient and prompt. She was super friendly. We would totally love to stay here again. Its proximity to the beach and other landmarks is perfect.-via Vrbo

Our weekend stay was fantastic! Everything looked like the photos. It was so nice to relax in nature. The one thing that stood out for me that I didn’t notice in the descriptions and photos, was that the house came with an impressive array of coffee makers in the downstairs kitchen. If you’re a fan of good coffee, bring your favorite beans and choose from their French press, v60 pour over(s), nesspresso, milk foamer, or a regular Mr coffee machine. They also have a grinder with adjustable ground size. The only item they could possibly add to the mix would be a digital scale, but otherwise it was a very impressive coffee bar!-via Airbnb

Awesome place to stay. Two separate living areas and kitchen for multi-family. The fireplace kept the top floor super cozy. Great views. If you want to get away from city life this is the place for you! Host was very accommodating. Projector screen was an added bonus to watch shows and sports which we did every night. The Grove, tucked deep into a Redwood-laden hillside above the Russian River, lived up to its billing. Our 3-family party of 6 adults, 1 toddler, and two dogs fit comfortably into its spacious floor plan. We love to cook and bake and found the kitchen well-equipped to meet most of our needs. In contrast to other properties we have rented, the owner/property manager went above and beyond in making the place "homey" for our stay. We rented over the Christmas week, and the first floor was decorated with a lighted and small Christmas tree! Several yummy welcome gifts awaited us, again, not what we have come to expect. A real treat was a tuned guitar hanging on the wall, allowing my husband to entertain the delighted toddler (although not to the liking of the dogs!). The beds were all comfortable, linens well stocked, and individual heating units in each room allowed for us to adjust to our own needs. Parking is tricky, as indicated The setting of the hot tub is beyond blissful.-via Airbnb

My friends and I stayed at The Grove as a staycation getaway, and we could not have asked for a better place! The hot tub was amazing, it was sprinkling but the magnificent redwood trees covered us from the rain, and the view was so pretty with tons of trees surrounding the home. The home is perfect for dogs cozy, spacious, and plenty of gated fences to roam around! Not to mention the screen + projector was huge and we enjoyed our staycation to the fullest :)-via Airbnb

This home is likely to be remembered as one of the best ofs in our vacation rentals. I generally like to spend most of my time exploring but I was content to hang around this home enjoying its outdoor deck in the treetops, the hot tub, and the very enjoyable home theater. Traveled with our adult children and having two floors gave us plenty of room to sprawl out. The three bedrooms were all nicely appointed, as was the home overall. Loved the decor throughout and the high level of thoughtfulness for guests. I’ve truly NEVER been in a rental that considered so large a range of guest needs and provided such detailed instructions to make you feel at home. Whatever eventuality could have happened, I felt like I could just open the guest book & find where to find what I needed or where to go to get it. When I searched the first aid kit for a bandaid, I was so impressed to see it stocked with all the basics plus things like activated charcoal, pepto pills and allergy meds. the kinds of things you never find except in the bottom of a Mom tote. Really appreciated the thoughtfulness when I had some tummy rumbles one day. The whole house is that way: I kept expecting to not find something I needed but they have thought of it all. They even provide accessories for dog guests. The beds were super comfortable with high quality bedcoverings. The two kitchens have all you need (basic spices) to make great meals. Loved the coffee making options. Lots of games and puzzles; musical instruments to play. The decks are wonderful places to just relax. Loved watching leaves drop and spin down to the ground. There were only two things that I were less than perfect. 1) my son went to bed and was greeted by a dead bug on the duvet. We also found that some of the hand towels had makeup stains that were not evident until unfolded. We thought the towels were left dirty so we washed them & the stains remained so I am going to guess they were just stained but housekeeping should know that a guest has no way to know that. It just looks like someone hung up dirty towels. 2) the one way road is a bit daunting to navigate, especially in a larger car/SUV, but worse is the parking. You WILL LIKELY scrape the *^# out of your car if you don’t have the clearance. The parking deck entry is VERY oddly dipped. Adding a pic w/a parked sedan would help make the point of how this affects many normal cars. My SUV was fine. My son’s Lexus badly scraped its fender and underbody.-via VRBO

We are so sorry to hear about your sons car! We try our best to warn guests of certain parking accommodations ahead of time to help plan accordingly. We did have one of our inspectors check on the parking area to see if there were any changes. He found that the “dip” was the Sweetwater Springs meter cover (local water department) and they have since gone out and raised it so other cars won’t get stuck on it. We also spoke with the cleaner and followed up about the stained towels. And we’re so sorry there was a bug! In our wooded area, bugs can slip in when we’re not there, after the home has been made ready for guests – but it doesn’t happen too often at The Grove. We do hope that you will consider this one of your special places, and come stay again anytime!

We loved our stay here. The layout for our two families was perfect with two levels of living space. The early risers were able to use the space in the lower level without waking others. The views were incredible. The sports fans in the group loved the large screen television too. The attention to deals was wonderful, even the light switches were labeled. The owners provided a wonderful binder of local information that we used frequently. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were beautiful. We would stay again!-via VRBO

The Grove is a great getaway nestled between towering redwoods. You'll want to spend most of your time on one of 2 decks--BBQing, eating, staring into the trees, but other options for passing time include the outdoor jacuzzi and GIANT projection screen in the living room. And you're close to Monte Rio river access. Everything you might possibly need has been thoughtfully provided, from games to 5+ ways of making coffee to twinkly lights that come on at dusk. The 2 levels of the house (each with bathroom, lounge area, deck, coffee makers) are good for people who rise at different times or just want to be able to get a little separation. The beds are comfortable, with good linens. The cons: A winding 1-lane road for the last 5 min so arrive before dark. Steep staircase down from the road will be difficult for anyone with mobility issues or carrying heavy loads. Distant traffic noise is surprisingly audible from the decks.-via VRBO

This is a great getaway to be in the woods and secluded yet close to things. The hot tub is amazing among the redwoods. The decks are so fun for drinks, food and just chilling. We bbq most nights and enjoyed drinks outside. This space is better for a family or two couples since the bathrooms are en-suite. The house is well decorated and maintained and was immaculately clean. It’s also dog friendly which was great for us. Lots of thoughtful touches and well stocked. It does get chilly and not sure would be great in winter months, they don’t have central heat, space heaters are not effective and dry the air out. The beds in the upstairs bedrooms are not great.-via Airbnb

Nestled high up in the Redwoods looking out over the Russian River, The Grove was a spectacular spot to rest, relax, play and party with our family during our week long vacation. This home is great for hanging out. We have two teenage boys and they loved the projector TV. The large dining table worked out great for dinner and board games. We wished the weather had been nicer, as we would have utilized the deck area, which looks great. It was lovely having our own little suite in the downstairs area- it’s very private. Note that there is only one bathroom upstairs and it’s in one of the bedrooms so might not work for multiple families, but worked just fine for us since our teens had the upstairs bedrooms. Bring your slippers! As someone else mentioned, the bathroom floors can be very cold even though there are space heaters. The wood burning stove in the family room is great and warms the family room, dining room and kitchen upstairs. There’s lots of stairs and step-downs throughout the house so I would not recommend it for elderly or anyone unstable on their feet. There’s a beautiful view from all sides and the hot tub is lovely. The view looking up from the hot tub is breathtaking. The kitchen is big but the counter space is minimal. An island in the middle (or cart on wheels) would be a great add-on for kitchen prep. This house is so quiet, a perfect little oasis. We are thinking this will be a great place to rent in the summer when it’s too hot in Sacramento. - via AirBnB

This place is an absolute gem. Beautiful place in a beautiful location. We were three couples staying here with our three dogs and everyone had plenty of space. I loved that this airbnb was so beautiful and well-stocked while also being SO dog friendly! We loved soaking in the hot tub underneath the redwoods, using the projector to create an extra cozy movie night, cooking in the spacious and well-stocked kitchen, using the two dishwashers and two fridges when we needed to. The location is fantastic, a 15 minute drive from the beach and stunning coastline, nearby to all the breweries and wineries that Russian River has to offer. Had an absolutely wonderful time and would recommend to anyone!!!-Via AirBnB

My husband and I overall had an amazing experience at The Grove. The home was beautiful, spacious, clean, and exactly as depicted in the photos. We loved the living room (beautiful, lovely views, great tv / projector set up), and the balcony / patio made for a lovely place to enjoy meals. The jacuzzi was under a lovely canopy of redwoods and felt super relaxing. The amenities were great, and the hosts had excellent + fast communication. We really enjoyed our stay at The Grove in Monte Rio. The home was situated way up on the hill amongst the redwood forest. This place was unique and had great additions like the hot tub and big screen projector. We overall enjoyed the stay and we're happy with the responsiveness. The location is pretty and we loved the big beautiful red wood trees and singing birds. The downstairs bed was big and comfortable. Definitely bring food and drinks to make at the house and drive slowly and carefully around the bends getting there. This property had everything we needed for our brief visit and more. The home was so well-appointed and considered. Our entire stay was easy and comfortable, from check-in to check-out. There were thoughtful amenities, plenty of towels and linens, and plenty of creature comforts. We appreciated the additional space heaters throughout and the wood-burning fireplace. We enjoyed the hot tub surrounded by redwoods. It was fun to watch a movie on the big screen (and they even provided Roku logins!) The location is exactly what we hoped for, quiet and remote, yet close enough by car to restaurants and the coast. We brought our dog and took long walks through the wooded neighborhood. I stayed here for a week with my husband and pup and we had an amazing time. The location of the place is close enough to the fun, but far away enough to be quiet at night. The cabin is exceptionally well stocked with spices, teas, and anything you need to buckle in for a few nights. We especially enjoyed the projector where we could play video games and watch movies with a large screen. The property felt very safe to have our pup out on the deck since it was completely fenced in, and there was even space for him to go potty in the mornings when it was just a bit too cold for a long walk. We're already hoping we can stay again in this cozy cabin. :-)-via AirBnB

This is a perfect house for a cozy weekend getaway. It is completely surrounded by trees and totally secluded for total privacy. The house was super clean and has incredible amenities. Awesome hot tub, very comfortable master bed downstairs, beautiful/updated bathrooms, and the kitchen was fully stocked with new appliances and tons of cookware. The movie theater + surround-sound is a game-changer...what an experience ! On top of all of this, it is extremely dog-friendly and the yard is completely enclosed. Our family of six (6) just finished a weeklong stay at Russian River Vacation Homes, The Grove and could not be more enthusiastic about this home and the amenities. Out of all the Airbnb homes we've stayed at this one far exceeds expectations. It ranks right up there with a 5 star hotel.The home is beautifully decorated – think Pinterest and has all the creature comforts a family could want. There are games and activities for adults and children alike and our dogs even had a wonderful time. Watching movies on the projection screen was an unexpected treat for all.The biggest surprise came in the evening when sitting out on the decks sipping our favorite drinks. We looked up into the redwoods behind the home and saw a spectacular star scape that took your breath away. These are the touches that made our stay at The Grove so magical.Thanks for a great vacation experience!

Came to visit The Grove with two friends for a week of relaxation. We loved this place from the pictures and knew the hosts were great due to pre-booking communication being so quick and friendly. Once we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised that the place actually exceeded our expectations! Such a wonderful place to just go and relax. The house is a great size (especially just for three single adults). Two were working from the house and had no issues with internet or with having enough distance from each other to have quiet space. The third enjoyed the gorgeous views and relaxing space. The various TVs (and huge projector!) were so great for entertaining ourselves in the evenings. The house not only offers the various TVs, but graciously has Netflix, Hulu, etc installed so you can use their accounts. Final note - I was a little anxious about being in a house with no air conditioning in the dead of summer. I hadn't seen it noted in any other reviews, so for others like me who overheat easily, rest assured the house stays a naturally pleasant climate due to it's location and being covered by so many trees. You can still get the sun outside when you want it, but I was very happy that the house itself maintained a pleasant temperature throughout our week long stay. Hands down would recommend this place to anyone and would visit again!-Via AirBnB

We were two families with small children and the space spacious and well designed. The kitchen was well-stocked with supplies, comfortable beds, relaxing living room with amazing projector screen for watching movies and very clean bathrooms. They had lots of games and even musical instruments. The location was a little windy to get up to with the one-lane road but the view of the redwoods and the river was spectacular. Beautiful property! The house is truly nestled under a canopy of redwoods tree's, pictures can't express the beauty. Everything we needed was provided and the house was immaculately clean. The layout was perfect for our group, the downstair level can be closed off with a locked door if you desire privacy. The only quirky thing is that the only upstairs bathroom is in one of the bedrooms, but people can use the downstairs bathroom too. We slept in the downstairs level and I'd have to say, it was one of the most comfortable night sleeps we've had away from home (and we travel a decent amount). The bed was very comfortable and the curtains blocked out any light, also the temp was perfect. The wrap around deck has beautiful views, we bbq'ed and had dinner at the table on the deck. It was great. The hot tub is pretty private from neighbors and housemates, it has tall redwoods circled around it which makes it very serene. The river is technically walking distance if you're not carrying a lot of stuff and you're an active person. I'd definitely recommend driving and parking at the beach. The road to the house is very narrow, we drove by the property before our stay, I'm glad we did so we knew to bring our smaller vehicle. The narrow road is really our only negative to the property. But I guess that's why we had such amazing scenery. We would book this house again.

My husband is a bit of a coffee nut and he loved the espresso machine and all the gadgets.  Such a sweet little treat for him and an elevated perk. Also, I loved the CLAW FOOT TUB! Brought my own rose petals from my garden and had a soak every night.  WHAT A TREAT!Thank you for hosting! It was a very cozy home that felt good right from the minute we walked in.

My friends and I had a wonderful time here! The house was amazing— three pretty private rooms, a beautiful outdoor space, plenty of room in the kitchen and living area. We would definitely return here. Lots of coffee making supplies, but don't forget your own beans for the full experience!

Lovely setting for a family reunion of 3 couples. Two spacious, well equipped kitchens. We visited many Russian River wineries during the day, and cooked dinners at the house at night. I highly recommend. -Airbnb Guest-

Location, layout and amenities of the house is great. Until you get the hang of the narrow and winding roads leading to the house is a bit challenging and recommend your first arrival is during daylight. Lots to do in all of the towns in this vacinity. Suggestion: I am assuming there were a few weeks since the previous renters as we found upon arrival many dead flies, cob webs and dust in the house and large debree on the steps leading into the house. Found cigarette butts in the ashtrays outside too. Perhaps you could consider someone doing a spotcheck before guests arrive at 4 pm. We did enjoy ourselves. Unless it's a same day booking, we do have someone check houses before guests arrive. It might be the same day or the day or two before and this person does a quick deck sweep (or uses a blower) and looks over the cleaning and such. Unfortunately, it only takes one good breeze and the redwoods drop a whole new round of debris! At my house, I can sweep daily and still have more to do! But we still love our redwoods! We are even happy to send the cleaners back out to a house if you find any issues. Guests should contact the office if they find anything amiss. We are happy to help. We  do try to give an accurate description of the roads - they are tricky, and this information is included in the listing information that guests see before booking, and in the arrival instructions sent to the guests.For future guests of The Grove - GPS and online maps are not always accurate, so please, please do use the driving directions that we provide - they are the best way to get to the house.

It was amazing to wake up among the trees, and the hot tub under the trees was icing on the cake. We would love to come back again. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a couple family dinners while we were staying here. We loved the different kinds of coffee makers too. The house has a lot of amenities and entertainment options, with a book full of instructions if we had any questions. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. The home is an unexpected surprise perched on a steep hill with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay plus some! Huge Screen Projection TV! Wonderfully equipped kitchens! Every type of coffee maker that exists, hot tub, bbq, etc., etc. We celebrated a pre-Thanksgiving with our children from Oakland and Chicago, we're from Portland, Oregon. Other than the smoke from the nearby fires, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful time at this property. It was perfect for six adults. We did have an issue which was quickly addressed by Jordan and we were so pleased. This property has every detail thought out. We watched several movies on the projector TV and had many nights out on the top deck sitting around the fire pit. The hot was the perfect solution to long day at the wineries - LOL! We were so excited about the guitar that the owners encourage you to use because we had a seasoned player with us. Thank you for sharing this beautiful home and THANK YOU Jordan for all of your help!

This place is a gem. Perfect for us. From all the amenities to the surroundings. Stocked with everything we could have needed. The only thing was the entertainment systems were so confusing and didn't work properly half the time. We ended up just not using it. It was better for it.-We have remedied the problem with the entertainment system. Thank you for your note! couldn't have been better... nice secluded house deep in the redwood forest, nice decks with a great hot tub, very clean and well stocked.. 2 kitchens, HUGE projection TV/surround sound system.. super comfy memory foam mattresses.. rental agents were so friendly and helpful.. will definitely stay again.. only thing that could be added was a pinball machine or ping pong table....

The Grove is a wonderful place to vacation. Perfect location, great facilities, a super easy place to immediately settle in and enjoy it. Everything is well thought out and we didn't have to worry about anything. Added bonus of a huge projector screen so we could snuggle and watch a movie too. As it was October, it got a little chilly in the evenings, but the fire and heating kept us super warm and cozy. There was 6 of us and a toddler staying there, so we put the toddler and parents downstairs and they could pretty much stay self-contained. (Perfect for us that wanted to sleep in!)

We had such a wonderful, relaxing 9-night getaway at The Grove. The setting is gorgeous and serene, with the house surrounded by redwood trees and even a view down to the river. The house was lovely and very well appointed - and so organized! The beds and furniture were really comfortable, and we loved the nice decorative touches. It felt very homey yet updated, and the owners did a really nice job of having things like games, musical instruments, a great entertainment set-up, and nice amenities for our dog. We absolutely loved the house, the amenities and the view! It was a great place to relax and unwind. The house was exactly as shown in the pictures. Our stay at The Grove was absolutely wonderful! The managers of the property have thought of everything to make our stay easy, comfortable and very enjoyable. The view of the redwoods from the hot tub is unbelievable and the projector is such a great, added touch. In addition, the customer service was exemplary!

Attention to detail, cleanliness, decor, setup...All breathtaking! Some rentals feel like a rental. The Grove was so cozy and welcoming, we felt "at home" when we arrived. Particularly loved the movie screen option and TV setup (Netflix, etc). So much to do while it was raining! Will definitely be back.

We had a lovely stay at this well-equipped immaculate home overlooking the Russian River. The stairs getting down to the place (and back up) with loads of stuff we a bit daunting but manageable. The hot tub in among the redwoods was spectacular and unique. Great entertainment system. A great time was had by all. I would say it is best for up to 6 people (3 couples) since the 7th person would not have a bedroom or regular bed.

We wanted to get away from the busy Silicon Valley, and rented this house for the Thanksgiving weekend. What a find! This house has everything you need to feel at home. From the relaxing hot tub to the various thoughtful touches, we all had a great time. The road leading up to the house takes a little getting used to, but once you are in the house, you just feel at home. Our kids loved the downstairs. All the bedrooms are very comfortable, and the TVs are awesome! We loved the Nespresso - we have one at our home and we're delighted to find one at the rental! The redwoods are majestic, and put you in a Zen state. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and hope to be back.
