Celia's Garden is a joyful sanctuary - custom built in 2018 just two blocks from downtown Graton and the exquisite restaurants and wine tasting rooms exemplifying West Sonoma County. Happily perched above the Joe Rodota Trail (a locally loved bike and walking trail), families will especially enjoy trekking between small towns, farm stands and parks. This sunny and welcoming property is your home away from home - with an open and well-stocked kitchen, dining and living area is comfortable for entertaining and escaping from city distractions. A playful retreat to open your senses - eclectic books and DVDs, fanciful records, and kid-friendly activities fill the bookcases and drawers.

Step out to the native plant and pollinator-inspired garden with a BBQ just outside the kitchen door and pick herbs to brighten a meal. Freshly planted olive and citrus trees will shade future generations as current guests linger in the hot tub just steps from the master suite. Fragrant creeping thyme grows between the flagstones…

Curated with love, guests are invited to rest and heal, invigorate and embrace.

Know Before You Book:

Maximum Occupancy and Quiet Hours:
The maximum occupancy at Celia's Garden is 6 people. Quiet hours are from 9:00 pm until 7:00 am. Outdoor amplified sound is prohibited at any time.

Parking:
There is parking for one car in the carport behind the house. Two or three cars can park in front of the house by the fence on Ross Road. Please do not park on the street in front of the carport. This can inadvertently block the neighbor from entering and exiting his garage. RVs, trailers and campers are prohibited, per the Sonoma County Vacation Rental Ordinance.

Bed Sizes:
Master Suite: Casper Queen bed; second bedroom: Casper Queen bed; Living room: Queen sleeper sofa.

Heat Source:
Radiant floor heat warms your toes first and the whole house with ease.

A/C:
The house does not have air conditioning. Being near the coast, the night time temps drop and just opening some windows is usually enough to cool the house.

Stairs:
The main door to the house is on the same level as the carport, but there's a gentle slope to the property, so other doors and decks have several steps. Inside the house is all one level.

EV Outlet:
There is a 220V outlet in the carport, no charging cord is provided.

Fencing:
The yard is now fully fenced.

About the TV:
No cable. Streaming services including Hulu, Disney+, ESPN+. Bring your own logins for other streaming services.

Property Updates:
Quite a bit of fantastic work has been done in the garden since these photos were taken! There is now a fence along the back of the property adding privacy for the hot tub area. A flagstone patio wraps around the hot tub to the concrete patio and outdoor dining. An abundance of native and pollinator plants are filling in and more are on the way! We're excited to take new photos as the yard fills in and grows!

This is a beautiful home with a welcoming feel. We felt at home and relaxed right away. The kitchen was well-stocked and had everything we needed to prepare a few meals at home. We enjoyed the hot tub and the enclosed backyard where our dog could walk around and smell everything. The location was great! We had a great getaway weekend at River Home. The house is quiet despite being close to a road. Bedrooms are comfortable. I love to cook and really enjoyed the kitchen. The fence-yard was perfect for our dog. The house is also next to the Rodota trail which was perfect to walk our dog. Charming Stay Close to Downtown Graton

We recently stayed at this property in Sonoma County with friends for a show and some wine tasting. The home is in a fantastic location, within walking distance to downtown Graton, and included everything we needed to make it feel like home.Unfortunately, we experienced a major ant invasion during our stay, starting in the kitchen and extending to the master bedroom. This was unexpected, especially as we woke up to it on a rainy weekend. While we were too tired to call the property manager at the time and we didnt want any chemicals sprayed, we managed to use some cinnamon we found to temporarily keep the ants at bay. We did ask for compensation for the inconvenience, but it was declined.We understand that this type of issue can happen in nature, especially during wet weather, but it was still a bit of a surprise. Despite this, the overall experience was pleasant, and we would most likely stay here again. -via Vrbo

Celia's Garden is very eco-friendly and doesn't have heavy chemicals around to kill ants. We can always help if we are notified and bring more supplies to deter or remove the ants. Our getaway at this cute little house was fun. The home was cozy, spacious, light-filled, and well stocked with everything we could need. The hot tub out back was perfect to relax in during the evening after wine tasting at several close by wineries. Only drawback was that the code provided did not work to let us into the house when we got there, and if it had not been for the neighbor who rescued us, we would have been really stuck! The property manager was only able to give us a 2nd wrong code. Neighbors told us this happens all of the time. They need to fix this! -via Vrbo

We came to Sonoma County to visit family and friends and this home worked perfectly for us. The home is in a great location and it's walkable to downtown Graton. It included everything needed to make this feel like home. The only very minor hiccup was the door code didn't work when we got there but the lady at the helpline fixed it for us quickly and all was good from there. Was looking for an escape while on a work trip and this was an absolute delight. Although it’s close to the road, you don’t hear much traffic passing by. We enjoyed our stay at Celia’s Garden. Very nicely laid out house with modern/eclectic feel, well equipped kitchen and sweet garden/backyard area. On arrival we had difficulty getting into the house due to being given a faulty code for the electronic lock, but once we were able to speak to the local representative, Ellen, she sorted it all out and resolved our problem within minutes. It’s always a little tricky finding a place to stay with our two pups when we travel. Celia’s Garden was wonderfully set up for the dogs, with a fully fenced yard and cement floors. The walking trail directly across the street was an added bonus. We appreciated all of the thoughtful touches that made our stay enjoyable. The property managers were fabulous, the communication was excellent and Alyssa was extremely helpful in navigating an issue with the front door code when we first arrived. Celia's garden was a beautiful, peaceful property, just as described. We really enjoyed the hot tub, my dog enjoyed the fenced-in yard, and we loved hanging out in the comfortable living room. Maybe the best thing about the house was the location -- walkable to the cute little village main street with a few great restaurants and a little bodega. We didn't cook, but the kitchen looked very well-supplied. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like dog bowls (and dog poop bags!) and the guide to the neighborhood. One thing to note -- our dog is a bit larger, but if you have a small dog there are some little spaces in the fence that a small dog might be able to sneak through.-via Vrbo

This was one of my favorite air bnbs ever. It doesn’t feel sterile at all, you really get a sense of feeling at home. We cooked one night and had absolutely everything we needed including multiple cast iron pans! The yard and hot tub were lovely and we walked a few minutes into Graton for breakfast. sleepy little village

This place was great!! Graton is more of a sleepy little village, so this is the place to stay at if you’re looking to hang out at the home. It’s extremely well appointed (we made a five course meal and didn’t even use a fraction of the utensils, bowls, etc), it’s really well decorated, and very comfortable. wonderful natural lighting

The location was ideal to walking to town. With a walking trail literally just outside the door. The home is very comfort in all aspects with wonderful natural lighting to brighten the Day….the Kitchen in particular was well-appointed. We loved our stay & were sad to leave!! Would definitely stay again on our next visit to the area!! The only annoying issue was a neighborhood dog that barked loudly at times….otherwise the neighborhood is peaceful.-via Airbnb

Stayed here for 3 nights with my mom, partner, and our small dog. The place is surprisingly large and the yard was wonderful. It even has a hot tub! The kitchen was well stocked, entry was easy, and the place was clean. I am from Sebastopol, so it’s hard to say how a non-local might find the location, but it’s a 5 minute walk to the center of Graton, which has some nice restaurants, tasting rooms, and galleries. It’s an easy 10 minute drive to Sebastopol. I am a runner and enjoyed the easy access to West County Trail, which is right across the street and will take you to Forestville in one direction and Sebastopol/Santa Rosa in the other. Would stay here again the next time I’m in town!-via Airbnb

Very nice house, we will be back. The location in Graton is perfect to explore the area. The main bedroom, kitchen, and backyard were the highlights for us. The second bedroom is slightly dark and ideal for kids who can share a bed or use the pack n play. We love Celia's Garden

We love Celia's Garden. This was our second and third stay. It is bright and cheerful inside, lots of light, nice privacy and across the street is a wonderful walking trail that you can walk for miles on. It is also walking distance to a few really nice restaurants. The only issue this visit is that in the past they cleaned with unscented cleaners but this time when we got there they had used very perfumed cleaners for the laundry. We were coming back in a few days so I asked them to clean with the unscented cleaner that was in the unit this time and they did. So in the future we will ask them about the cleaning products prior to booking.

we love Celia's Place. The house is bright, cheerful, and across from a totally awesome trail that goes for miles. and it's a couple of blocks from some really great restaurants. However, the last time we booked they didn't use scented cleaners. the first time it totally stunk!! However we had a few days between bookings. so I asked that they cleaned with the ," Free and clear detergent that was on hand and they did it. Much better on the return trip. Best to specify if you want scent free cleaning.

My parents, fiancé, family dog, and I stayed for three nights at Celia's Home. It was one of the best Airbnbs we have ever stayed at. There were restaurants and a café within walking distance and a trail that wound along vineyards and greenery that was perfect for going on runs and walking the dog. The space, itself, was so comfortable, clean, and tasteful. The products that were available in the house were high quality from the shampoo to the books about the area. We enjoyed hanging out in the living room after a day out or reading in the well-maintained lawn. This Airbnb is definitely one that you can tell the owners take pride in and it struck the perfect balance between secluded but walkable. We would love to stay again!-via Airbnb

This house was a perfect getaway (and soul-rejuvenating) place for me and a girlfriend— beautifully decorated with art and poems and old photos, a lovely garden to sit in or just gaze out at, well-equipped kitchen (although we didn’t cook because the restaurants just down the street are so good!). Our family was traveling from out of state to attend our great-grandfather's 90th birthday in the heart of wine country. This was only a 5 min drive from his home which was the perfect location for us. It was also close to the wineries and we even made the trip out to beautiful Bodega Bay! We really enjoyed our stay at Celia's garden. When you first arrive in feels crowded, but once you're in the house it feels like you're someplace spacious. You look out onto the lawn, with lovely. plants and fence. Easy walking to great places to eat and some artist galleries. The trail across the street is very nice, lots of trees along both sides (at least as far as we went). The house was clean and well stocked.-via Airbnb

Please note: House is very close to a road that has some traffic on it during the day but quiet at night. Its also close to other homes but there weren’t any neighbor issues at all.-via Airbnb

This is the perfect place for a small family or 2 couples. We used this house as our base for traveling through wine country. Hot tub was a nice touch and clean. This is really a home away from home. My family really enjoyed this lovely place with an excellent location and perfect layout. We were walking distance from our favorite restaurants. Also, love Andys for groceries and wine. We went to our favor restaurant in Occidental, Hazel, just 10 minutes drive and the Cheeseshop in Freestone 15 minutes drive. The wine tasting rooms walking distance in downtown Graton, Bowman and Paul Mattew are exceptional. 5 minutes drive you have Marimar vineyards, Dutton State, Emeritus and more. 20 minutes drive are Armstrong Redwoods, amazing peaceful place. Momma’s pie has the best pies!

Beautiful Home

This house was the perfect place for our family. We enjoyed daytrips to Stinson Beach, Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve, and even business in downtown San Francisco. We stay at air bnbs with our young children regularly and felt like this was the perfect match of cleanliness + a few toys to keep them occupied. The art supplies were a huge hit with our 8 year old. The hot tub was enjoyed by everyone and was the perfect entertainment while we prepared dinner in the well-equipped kitchen. It was quiet, which is very important when traveling with kids. We did one wine tour down the road (Red Car) that was very enjoyable. The access to a few small shops and restaurants without being "in the heart" of everything was ideal. My kids spent quite a bit of time in the "shed" in the backyard reading and playing. They wanted to sleep out there and in a few years it totally might be a good option! We cannot wait to return to the area and will work future trips around the availability of Celia's Garden home.

We loved this place so much we re-booked it for later in the year while we were still here. When we walked in it immediately felt like a second home with all the amenities you could need. The location is also fantastic - great breakfast and dinner spots 5 minutes walk away with multiple grocery stores and additional restaurants within a 7 minutes drive. This place is perfect. Every detail is thought of. The home is lovely, bright, and spacious, and the garden is such a peaceful place to relax. Six of us stayed here to visit the Napa wineries, and it was the perfect location just an hour away. The hot tub was wonderful to unwind after a day of wine tasting. The kitchen was well stocked with basic cooking needs too. If I come back to Napa, I'll definitely stay here again!

This home, within walking distance of downtown Graton, is a beautiful, well-equipped, and comfortable space to work, play, and hang out in. We loved cooking in the kitchen, soaking in the hot tub, the cute detached studio/cottage, and easy access to the West County Trail for strolling. Our dog loved sunbathing on the porch and patio. We would definitely return to Celia's Garden.

This home was everything we needed/wanted. Very quiet neighborhood, close to local shops. The backyard was very nice on a warm summer night. The hot tub is a great amenity. The kitchen is up to date with all appliances and offers a very open concept that allows the people cooking to be chatting with the people at the dining table/living room. The rooms were great, very spacious and clean. Loved the brand of the shampoo/conditioner/hand soap/lotion!! Great touch! Everything was great. I could go on and on. Me and my boyfriend stayed with two other couples and we all agreed it was a place we would like to come back to again next summer. We absolutely loved everything about our stay. The house had everything we needed to have a relaxing weekend in wine country. Great ideas on what to do in the area, easy walk (literally across the street) to the bike path. Kitchen had everything to cook up some great meals.One thing of note is that if you want to have your dog roam this may not be the property for you as the garden is not fully fenced in.

Comfortable and Welcoming

This was a lovely place to settle in after a full day drive up the California coast. The place had so much to offer. Two full bathrooms and plenty of quiet sleeping to accommodate our five-person party. We were happy to ease into the hot tub and take in the fresh cool air before sleeping. The house has an open kitchen and living room design that lets in a lot of natural light. The grounds are beautifully landscaped too. Just a short walk to the center of all the artistic shopping and delightful restaurants that Gratin has to offer. The house is centrally located in Sonoma near the Russian River, wine country, ocean, and red wood forests. Not far from San Francisco either! We took a trip along the Russian River and ate lunch at the Russian House #1 just south of Jenner. If you are in the area, make it a point to drop in and grab a bite at the Russian House. Beautiful location on the Russian River and very unique eating experience. Will be sure to stay at Celia's Garden when visiting Sonoma again. Truly a respite from it all.

Unique West Sonoma Cottage

This single level cottage style house was awesome. The minute we walked in, we fell in love. It's tastefully decorated and has more than you need to be comfortable. When I'm away from home, having a good bed to sleep in is a treasure, and almost impossible to find. Not only does this cabin have great beds, it's peaceful and serene, with hiking trails, stores and restaurants all within walking distance. You don't have to drive anywhere all weekend if you don't want to. You have a lot of privacy and there are beautiful views from anywhere on the patio. We ate outside for almost every meal. It is a great place for hosting a "friends weekend" with the extra sleeping space, and the layout of the kitchen and living room combined with the patio areas create a very familial and inviting "home away from home".

My family and I were able to stay at Celia's Garden before the listing went public. We are already dreaming about going back. The space is beautiful and comfortable. We loved lounging in the hot tub and sitting on the front porch. It was an easy short walk into the charming heart of Graton, which has everything you could need and nothing more. We also enjoyed ambling along the nearby Joe Rodota Trail. This is a special place.
