Bella Vita is situated in a quiet and delightfully sunny neighborhood in Monte Rio. Skillfully remodeled, natural light shines through every room. Everyone will feel welcome to be together for relaxation and meals! You'll cook up a storm in the full kitchen featuring a professional-grade Wolf range and then enjoy dining alfresco on the private patio alongside a backlit waterfall. Families with kids and dogs will relish the sunny, fully fenced backyard, back deck, patio with BBQ and hot tub.

Cozy up in the living room to watch a movie or take a walk to the Monte Rio Beach, restaurants, locally made ice cream, and additional recreation. You're a short drive to wineries, coastal hikes, adventures in redwood forests, or floating down the Russian River. And after a day of exploration, luxuriate in the master bathroom's soaking tub or glass-walled shower. Contemporary furnishings and accessories grace this modern interpretation of a river family home.

Know Before You Book:

Maximum Occupancy and Quiet Hours: The maximum occupancy at Bella Vita is 6 people. Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm until 7:00 am. Outdoor amplified sound is prohibited at any time.

Parking: There is parking for 4 cars - 1 to 2 cars in the driveway and more in front of the house. RVs, trailers, and campers are prohibited, per the Sonoma County Vacation Rental Ordinance.

Bed Sizes: Master bedroom: King; Second Bedroom: Queen; Third Bedroom: Twin over Double Bunk bed with Twin Trundle.

Heat Source: Central heat plus a gas fireplace in the living room.

Rec/Game Room: The game room is an unheated, uninsulated space. Temperature varies throughout the year.

Location: Bella Vita is located in a comfortable residential neighborhood with mostly long-term residents. There is a power substation just up the street - less than a block from the house.

Stairs: While the living areas in the house are all one level, there are several stairs to the front door, from the kitchen into the garage/rec room, and out into the back yard.

Fencing: The backyard is full fenced.

Proximity to wineries: There are several tasting rooms in downtown Guerneville (4.6 mi) and an abundance of vineyards and tasting rooms within a 10 mi radius.

Nearest River Beach: The Monte Rio Beach is 0.4 miles and is open year-round with concessions and boat rentals in the summer. Part of the beach is dog friendly.

Nearest Ocean Beach: Beaches in Jenner are approx. 9 miles.

This home was so fresh and clean. The well-appointed kitchen was lovely and the beds were very comfortable. Lovely personal touches like a bottle of wine, postcard, and dog dishes made this a great place from which to launch our many local adventures. We did our best to sweep up the fur our dog tried to gift you, but since this is a dog-friendly home and was spotless, your cleaner probably has Jedi skills. Beautiful home with plenty of space for two young families. Wonderful gas fireplace and outdoor areas. The bedrooms and bathrooms have fluted windows in their doors so they're not particularly private, but they're comfy. Neighborhood is quiet and convenient with Guerneville less than 10 minutes away and plenty of fun spots between the home and the coast. Communication was frequent and fast, and we were able to check in a bit earlier. Thanks for a lovely trip! -via Airbnb

My fiancé & I wanted a quiet getaway for a few days after Christmas & that’s exactly what we got. The home was beautiful & very clean. The only negative for me was the two glass front doors. I went with a small group of close friends and my dog to celebrate my birthday after an especially difficult year. We were looking for an easy, peaceful, but fun time, and that's what we found. Bella Vita was exactly as described and pictured. We found the house easily and it's in a great location. You feel secluded, but still so close to so much. The house was immaculate and very well-stocked with everything we needed. We really enjoyed the indoor/outdoor feeling, the yard, and the hot tub. I'd definitely love to visit again.-via Airbnb

Due to a miscommunication between property management and house cleaners the house had not been cleaned before our arrival on a Sunday afternoon. We cleaned everything ourselves and did the laundry. My family had a ball at Bella Vita. Our only complaint is that there are no screens on the windows so that, if you wanna leave them open, you gotta deal with all the bugs that get inside. Awesome home, wonderful location! Easy walk to the river, easy drive to Guerneville and Villa Grande. The river is cool on hot days, the hot tub is toasty on cold nights. We loved our stay. Clean. Quiet. Well stocked - kitchen had everything - even some extras like spices, condiments, etc. Grill was awesome. Hot tub. Patio table. Beds were comfy. Nice linens. you’ll have a hard time leaving

We can’t say enough good things about this home! The only bad thing is that you’ll have a hard time leaving and going back home! The home was spotless, smelled great when we walked in and you just can tell the River Homes Team cares about their properties, the exterior of the house was just as immaculate as the interior. The home was large enough for our family of 6 adults, the backyard was dreamy, lots of herbs and flowers, beautiful views of the mountains. The hot tub was extremely clean, the water was crystal clear and the water was already hot by the time we arrived, which is not always the case at some other AirBnBs with a hot tub. The outdoor furniture was simple and comfortable, the BBQ needed no cleaning before using and we had a lovely time in that space. You have neighbors on each side of the house but we never saw or heard anyone! Bonus… a few houses down, there is a green pasture where you can find two cute horses, the neighbor lets you feed them! 100% recommend-via Airbnb

Extremely clean, hot tub is amazing, yard is beautiful, love the outdoor dining area, brand new appliances and stove, short drive to all the Guerneville attractions. A lot of thought and care put into this home. Central AC, washer dryer, and dishwasher are amazing. Love the master bedroom and all the glass. Really great stay for Russian river activities while having a nice retreat. One small thing to mention is that this home has a small electrical substation nearby. Not a big deal and there wasn’t noise but for those who care about that kind of thing good to know.-via Airbnb

Beautiful home. Kitchen was fully stocked, and stove and oven were so great to use! Some of the back doors were a little tough to lock; what worked for us is turning the handle up before locking. Really great place for a vacation in Monte Rio. We stayed with our 3 yr old daughter and our small dog. The layout and furnishings in the place are fantastic. The kitchen is made for cooking with high end appliances, good quality knives and every utility you could need. It even had a Vitamix! Nice backyard. The overall layout was one that could easily accommodate two couples and still have space. Will be making this a regular spot when staying around Russian River.-via Airbnb

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this great house. The backyard is peaceful and the jacuzzi a plus. Our dogs enjoyed the grassy yard and walking through the neighborhood. Quiet and friendly neighborhood. You will love it!-via VRBO

Re: Russian River Vacation Homes - Bella Vita. We stayed for a few nights at this lovely, very clean & modern home. It's close to the river & Armstrong Redwood State Natural Reserve (easy hike), not too far from ocean (15 minute drive) & restaurants. Our family enjoyed the hot tub & had a blast with the game room. Appreciated the ambiance of the backyard fountain & gorgeous roses in the front yard (April 2022). The soft mattress top was OK for me (I like to lie on my sides), but not firm enough for my husband's back. Would definitely consider returning, but ideally, when the ice cream store (w/in walking distance) is open for the season.-via Airbnb

Bella Vita is perfectly appointed- All the details to make you feel like you are at home. The home is beautiful and well cared for. Very quiet and respectful neighborhood. Each room in the home is perfectly set up. Super comfy beds and lots of extra blankets. The yard is beautiful. We loved being able to cook dinner on the outside grill as well as enjoyed doing homeschool outside at the table with umbrella. The hot tub was a hit as well. Super fun to have the air hockey/pool table and loved the surround sound for watching a good movie together in the living room. We absolutely loved our stay. We highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy all the comforts of home while you are away from home. - via AirBnB

Absolutely Great Place!

Absolutely great place! would go there again in a heartbeat. We rented the house for a weekend as family of four with two kids (5 and 2). The house was really easy to access and the description on how to enter was week described in the Hospitality app. take a screenshot before you go though as we had no cellular reception with AT&T. We really liked the spacious and bright house. The kitchen was very well equipped and had plenty of plates, pans, utensils etc. they had a toaster, micro wave, hot water boiler, coffee maker and the gas stove top even had a grill section. The bathrooms were very clean, modern, and well stuffed with plenty of towels. The bedrooms were spacious and what was great for our family with kids: all had blackout shades so it was perfect for naptimes. There bedroom with the bunk bed even had a kids nightlight and a really comfy seat which it kids enjoyed a lot. The living room has a huge TV with DVD system and speakers from the ceiling. Our personal favorite was the gas fireplace though. The garage is a game room with pool billiard and you can flip the table to play a different game. The outside seating on the porch as well as in the backyard are amazing. There is lots of light, fresh herbs which we used for cooking and two fountains which added to the calmness and peacefulness if the place. The hot tub was really nice and clean. We explored Monte Rio Beach, Downtown Guernville for lunch and the Armstrong preserve for a nice hike which is all within 10 min of a drive from the place. There is a school with a really nice playground about a block away from the house which was a big plus with the kids. I can highly recommend this place and will surely visit again. - Via AirBnB

Had a great time in the area and at the house. It was close to things to do such as the ocean, river, hiking and wineries. Great biking trail to the wineries about 20 minutes from house. Also, had a great time at the house. Our child loved the air hockey and spa. The kitchen was great for Thanksgiving dinner. Host was very responsive and even brought us towels and a missing cutting board right away. Would definitely stay here again. - via AirBnB

This place is super comfortable with a well stocked kitchen, laundry/ play room, 2 big bed rooms plus a kids bunk bed (room) and a lovely garden with hot tub. My family and I really enjoyed our stay and the location was convenient. We did not mind the 50 minutes drive to Sonoma train town and roughly about 30 minutes drive to the Schulz museum. The beds are very comfortable and our kids could get good sleep. I would definitely recommend this place!
