Unwind at Creekside Lodge under towering redwood trees and along seasonal Austin Creek! This peaceful property includes outdoor dining at the picnic tables, gas BBQ, a propane firepit, and trail to explore Austin Creek – weather permitting. Surrounded by majestic redwood trees and greater wine country, you have so many opportunities for adventures! Or indulge in 3 large bedrooms and 2 and a half bathrooms, plus a bonus room downstairs. Enjoy technology with a 48' flat screen TV in the master bedroom, 51' plasma TV in family room, 60' HD TV in recreation room, and high-speed wifi. Ample for working remotely – if you must.

Creekside Lodge is perfect for several couples or a large family! The chef’s kitchen, open dining and living rooms, and comfortable furnishings encourage spontaneous and informal gatherings.

Conveniently located, guests are a short drive to the Russian River, Pacific Ocean, restaurants, wineries, golf, hiking, and more!

Know Before You Book:

Maximum Occupancy and Quiet Hours: The maximum occupancy at Creekside Lodge is 8 people not including kids under 3 years old. Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm until 7:00 am. Outdoor amplified sound is prohibited at all times.

Parking: There is parking for a maximum of 4 vehicles. RVs, trailers, and campers are prohibited, per the Sonoma County Vacation Rental Ordinance.

Bed Sizes: Bedroom 1: King bed; Bedroom 2: King bed; Bedroom 3: Queen bed; Bonus Room Downstairs: Two Queen futons.

Heat Source: Central heat.

Location: Creekside Lodge is in a residential neighborhood. It is a mix of permanent residents and vacation rentals, families, working folks, and visitors. To honor this balance, we ask guests to park in the driveway and respect the quiet hours in addition to general family-friendly, residential neighborhood expectations. Thank you for helping to continue the tradition of a mutually beneficial relationship between vacation rentals and local community!

Stairs: Creekside Lodge is 3 stories with interior stairs from the ground floor to the middle and upper floors. There is also an exterior staircase from the middle level to the backyard – ground level.

Pet Friendly: Creekside Lodge allows up to 2 well-behaved dogs.

Fencing: The backyard is fully fenced, but we recommend you check before allowing your dog off leash. The front yard is partially fenced and open to the road.

Austin Creek Access: This seasonal creek runs most of the year, but drought and storm conditions impact creek access and water levels. The water level in the creek changes quickly and it is difficult to predict what the water level will be for any specific time. In winter the path may be under water.

Common Amenities not included: This home does not have air conditioning. Being near the coast, the nighttime temps drop and just opening some windows is usually enough to cool the house overnight.

Proximity to wineries: There are tasting rooms in Duncan’s Mills approx. 3.5 miles from the house and Guerneville approx. 8 miles from the house.

Nearest River Beach: In the summer guests can pay a day use fee at Casini Ranch (approx. 3.5 mi) or go to the Monte Rio Public Beach (approx. 4.3 mi).

Nearest Ocean Beach: The coastal beaches in Jenner are approx. 7.5 mi.

We will definitely plan on staying here again. It is right in the woods and so close to the ocean. The older kids loved having their own separate space off of the garage. It was so nice to have extra kid stuff provided for our toddler! -via Airbnb

Five of us came up to Cazadero for a Ladies Retreat Weekend - get away from work and the kids. We had an absolute blast! The Creekside Lodge is indeed beside a lovely creek. It was so peaceful sitting at the picnic table in the backyard at night listening to the rushing of the creek. The hot tub was wonderful - soaking and staring up at the redwoods was blissful. The bedrooms were clean and are a good size. The living space on the main floor had plenty of space for a group our size. The kitchen is well stocked. It got a bit cold in the evenings, but the heater works REALLY well in the house. It is not very private because there are neighbors next door and across the street, but it is very peaceful. So you almost feel like you are in a secluded area. We enjoyed the Creekside Lodge and would book it again! -via Airbnb

We were 3 couples and no kids. The house has the master suite on the main floor and two bedrooms upstairs on opposite ends which worked well for us. We were there to cook all our meals and the kitchen was well-equipped. There is an electric griddle, a stand mixer, lots of bowls, and measuring cups. Pretty much everything you need. The kitchen also had a good layout for letting multiple people. The main living area was a bit awkward configuration. We could not all fit on the sofa and the armchairs were shifted away from the sofa. The downstair bonus room was a great setup for movie night except that the futons were not comfortable to sit in for longer than an hour. Probably better for kids to hang out and be loud as it was below the main level with a bathroom. The highlight was being right next to the river and having a hot tub under the redwoods. It was very peaceful to be out there. We couldn't use the firepit as everything was always wet from morning dew but might work out in the summer.- via Airbnb

Six of us friends spent my birthday weekend in the Creekside cabin very comfortably. The home is on 3 levels which allows everyone to stretch their legs and move about freely. It is situated right on the beautiful Austin Creek with the peaceful sound of trickling waters. The hot tub was most amazing in the morning while looking up at the 100ft + redwood trees above. The kitchen was completely stocked with everything needed to prepare meals including a spacious 8-seat dining room table. Use of the garage made it so easy to unload the cars and reload at our departure. We hiked out at Shell Beach & Goat Rock which was surprisingly close by and convenient. If you’re looking for a very quiet & peaceful getaway this cabin is the perfect place.-via Airbnb

We selected this home to have our family vacation and we had the best of times. The house is enchanting, sits in a beautiful creek and our kids loved running in it and playing with the river water. The yard it’s an absolute dream, the hot tub is nested in between beautiful redwoods, and the strong area with the fire table offered memorable nights with the fam. The kitchen is stocked with high-quality items, making it super easy to cook our meals. The TVs are all high-def and the rooms are spacious. It’s close to lots of great locations (we went to Casini Ranch to rent kayaks, to Forestville to rent bikes, and to the Armstrong Redwoods for a hike) We would absolutely rent again.-via Airbnb

Creekside Lodge is a great place for a couple of families to enjoy. There are a lot of stairs so smaller kids might not be the best fit but the beds, kitchen and space as well as location make for a peaceful and relaxing vacation. We had plenty of propane for the fire pit and BBQ. There were a few old dog poops but we sort of expected that since not everyone is 100% on top of that and it comes with renting a dog OK cabin. The route down to the creek is a little steep, and a safety concern for some people, so this is one reason for 4 stars. If the owner could make it a little easier to get down there, I'd give it 5/5. The only other issue is the neighbor's dog that is left out all night and barks to be let in. Since we have a dog, it did not bother us a lot, but hopefully someone will talk to them about letting the dog into the home at nights, or at least in the garage. The creek was awesome and for us the place was great.-via Vrbo

Nice place. Had fun. House is right off the creek and in a great area, but had no privacy with neighbors all around and up close. It was very clean with the basic amenities. The yard is great, nice size and lots of furniture ...only warning there is, although there is a fence, if you have a dog that's 60 lbs or smaller, there are 3 areas in the fence that they will easily be able to get through. We loved our stay! Our group was 8 people from 3 generations of our family. We loved that this place is dog friendly, but also very clean. We loved being so close to the creek (the kids played in the creek every day). The kids loved having their “own space” in the extra room downstairs off of the garage. And we especially loved cooking meals together in the kitchen. Such a fantastic spot in the heart of the redwoods.-via Airbnb

It has a great big drive way area which is helpful on the busy Hywy and for the number of people we had. The house has a great backyard area and a bonus room downstairs. the best part is it has 4 toilets. The main floor with the kitchen, dinning are and living area was a wonderful layout. Beds were comfy and the bright room with its view of the creek was very relaxing. We arrived a bit early and just wanted to see the place. When we came back at 4 pm the person was still cleaning and left about 10 to 15 minutes later. I would prefer a 3 o'clock check in and an 11 am check outcome.-via Vrbo

Upon arrival at 4:02, the owner was just walking out of the house and getting into her car (from cleaning I assume), check in was at 4:00. We rolled our window down because at first we weren’t sure if that was the correct house given the fact that there was a car in the driveway. She asked us to move up a bit so she could get out of the driveway. We asked her if she was the owner and she said yes and then told us “and we have quiet hours.” Felt a little judged by that statement as we were already aware there were quiet hours. Not sure why she felt the need to tell us. It came across as very rude. The house itself is gorgeous! Lots of stairs so be prepared. But plenty of room for 8 guests. The hot tub was dirty, we had to wipe a film from around the edges that had built up and the water didn’t appear very clean. We also had to go fill up the propane as all 3 were out and we couldn’t use the fire pit or BBQ without it. Overall, even with the few minor issues we would stay here again-via Airbnb

We absolutely loved this home, thank you! Beautiful, peaceful, and so many thoughtful details provided by our hosts. We made family breakfasts in the well-stocked kitchen, gathered 'round the propane fire pit laughing and telling stories, and relaxed in the clean hot-tub. Evenings we played games at the large wooden table as a chorus of frogs serenaded us from the nearby creek. Creekside Lodge was just as wonderful as described. They have thought of everything a guest might want or need. Having the big redwood trees all around made it so beautiful. The water levels were very high so we were unable to enjoy the river. We had our 2 year old grandson with us so it was great to have the toddler bed and the booster seat. He also enjoyed the books. This is a great house. Tons of space, so everyone can spread out, or be together. Even though it rained a lot during our visit, it was still very enjoyable. The creek is more of a river this year, so should be tons of fun in the summer. Appeared to be easy access to the creek. The yard is fenced, but please pay attention to the suggestion to check for openings. There are several areas where a small to medium, or eager large dog can easily get through. Hot tub was great, but needed a cleaning. Thinking it might have been skipped due to the terrible weather lately. House was well stocked, very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Beds were very comfortable. Be sure everyone in your party is capable of climbing stairs, even your dogs. The entryway stairs are not steep, but super slippery in socks. Outside stairs to yard are a bit steep, and slippery when wet. Stairs to third floor are pretty steep. Just something to be aware of and prepared for. There is a babygate in the closet that we used to block the opening of the stairs to the main floor. Definitely a concern with toddlers and overzealous dogs. Bottom level playroom was great for games, watching favorite shows on a huge tv and room for kids/dogs to release some energy indoors without fear of damaging anything. Showers were great, good water pressure. View of the creek and the trees is lovely. We visit the creek at least once a year, and Creekside will now be on our favorites list.

We are surprised to hear about the hot tub, it was serviced before your stay and inspected/photographed before arrival and was clean and sparkly! The spa folks are great and don’t skip hot tub service – even for really, really bad weather!!! But, sometimes the aeration (itty bitty air bubbles) from the jets can make the water look cloudy. For future stays, if you have any issues or concerns with the home you can always call or email the office and we can check the service status and reach out to the tech. Magical! This home was perfect for our family holiday getaway during a very rainy week in the redwoods. It is right on the creek trimmed by stunning trees. Our bodies were so grateful for the hot tub every day. The house was cozy and had everything we needed including a fully outfitted kitchen and baby stuff! This home was a great choice for our weekend getaway. There were plenty of rooms and bathrooms for all eight of us to use comfortably. We enjoyed taking walks by the creek in the backyard and hanging out in the outdoor space. It was a huge plus that we were allowed to take our 2 dogs as well! The heater worked well throughout the whole house and kept us warm during the cold nights. The only compliant we had was the fire pit wasn’t working when we wanted to make s’mores and the ice from the fridge wasn’t dispensing. Other than that, we thank you for a great stay!-via Airbnb

We had the absolute best weekend. We’ve stayed in a lot of rentals but this one was the most perfect. Clean, well stocked with everything we needed, spacious, and beautiful. I grew up in this house from 77-85. My dad (now 88) remodeled the original two story cabin into the 3 story house that it is now. Our family names still visible on the concrete driveway was surreal to see after 45 years. We slept in my old room and I was able to reminisce and tell stories to my husband and friends. Many of my dads original ideas, touches and modifications are still present. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen has everything you need to cook or bake and it was very functional. We did not notice any wood or kindling for the outdoor fire pit. But the house had everything else you need and it was very comfortable. It felt like going home.-From prior management,VRBO

This 3 bedroom+1 bonus room was perfect for our recent family vacation. There were 7 adults and 1 child and it fit our needs perfectly! First off, the house was very clean upon arrival. The furnishings were up to date and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment (they even have a Kitchen Aid mixer!). We cooked all of our meals at the house and had everything we needed. There is also a gas BBQ in the backyard which worked great. The backyard is beautiful! There is a fit pit (bring your own firewood) and you can sit amongst the redwoods. There is one picnic table plus a smaller one for kids. You can also access Austin's Creek from the backyard. When we visited in August, there wasn't a lot of water in the creek but my 6 year old skipped rocks and he could've splashed around in the water if he wanted to. It was also peaceful just to sit on the creek bed and listen to the small amount of water that was there. There is also a spa in the backyard that we used several times. A note about the bonus room - there are two ways to access it: one is through the garage and the second is through the backyard. There are two futons down there that can be turned into beds. There is also a toilet and sink down there next to the washer/dryer. The house is 15 minutes from Greenville and 20 minutes from Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Preserve. We thought this house was great and we would hands down stay here again!-From prior management,VRBO

Had a great weekend getaway with three couples, the House was exactly as described and perfect in every way! Weather out for a walk in the redwoods, wine tasting nearby or headed to the coast, this House was in the perfect location to it all! This was probably one of the nicest Airbnb's we've stayed at so far. The property itself was beautiful and tastefully staged, there were ample supplies in every room for guests. The kitchen was well-stocked with most gadgets you could need (and a Kitchen aid mixer!) to make meals in house, while grilling food is also a wonderful experience with a picturesque overview of the nearby creek. The hot tub was well-maintained and easy to use-- it was a tight fit for 7 but we made it work. I can't say enough about this place... what a nice retreat! Perfect place and perfect rental experience. This is a great house for up to 3 couples/families with (older) kids. Beds rank among most comfortable I've slept. Kitchen is well-stocked, living/dining area sized appropriately for the group, TV/wifi in good working order, right on the creek, nice outdoor space to hang out too (fire-pit, hot tub). It is fenced off, so dog will come next time. Whilst on the road, this is not a busy part of the region. We had pizza from Raymond's in Cazadero (5 minutes), went to Jenner, hiked Island in the Sky, baked goods from Duncan Mills (8 minute). We'll be back.-From prior management, Airbnb

This place was great for us — 2 families with 4 adults, 1 toddler and a dog. It’s huge and we did not get to utilize the entire house.
