Description

Experience the beauty of the Russian River Valley wine country at Redwood Lane Retreat! Situated high above the Drake Estates neighborhood, offering breathtaking views of Williams Selyem Vineyards and Drake's Apple Orchards, this well-appointed home features rich hardwood floors, an open kitchen and dining area, as well as a stone wood-burning fireplace.

Off the dining and living room area are sliding glass doors leading to a large sunny deck with outdoor dining, gas grill and gorgeous views. The kitchen has new stainless steel appliances, complete with a wine cooler. The master bedroom has its own private bathroom with a walk-in tile shower with double showerheads and a rain showerhead. The home stays warm in the winter with central forced air heating and cool in the summer with air conditioning.

A bottle of complimentary wine is waiting for you! Just sit back and relax with a great glass of wine on the expansive deck overlooking vineyards and apple orchards. Or take a short 2.5 block walk to visit Drake's neighborhood beach on the Russian River.

Redwood Lane Retreat is located approximately 2 miles from downtown Guerneville. It is a 15 minute drive to many Russian River Valley wineries and the Sonoma Coast.

Know Before You Book:

Maximum Occupancy and Quiet Hours: The maximum occupancy at Redwood Lane Retreat is 6. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. Outdoor amplified sound is prohibited at any time.

Parking: There is room in the driveway for up to 2 cars, and street parking is available on a first-come first-served basis. (Garage is used for storage and not available for parking ). RVs, trailers and campers are prohibited, per the Sonoma County Vacation Rental Ordinance.

Bed Sizes: Master bedroom: King bed; Second bedroom: Queen bed; Third bedroom: two Double beds; Living room: Double European sleeper sofa

Heat Source: Gas forced air heater with thermostat; wood burning fireplace in living room (no firewood or kindling provided)

Holiday Decorations: This home is lovingly decorated for Christmas starting after Thanksgiving.

Lovely house in Guerneville, close to one of the best little local neighborhood beach on the Russian River. Super pet friendly too! The kitchen is really well appointed, the views are lovely, and the property manager is really great at communication. We would stay there again for sure. The driveway is a little tricky, which is not unusual in Guerneville. The house is on a fairly steep hill, but that’s part of why the views are so good. Just be prepared, take it slow, and you’ll be fine. -via Vrbo

Given its closeness to many Sonoma wineries and the town of Guerneville, I'd give this home a 4.5-star review. Large master bedroom with two separate rooms downstairs with beds provided plenty of privacy for all guests. The kitchen was very extremely well stocked with all many cabinet condiments and utensils. Grill outdoors was a plus. Having many extra towels and blankets is another plus. The view itself was a 4-star only as it wasn't the amazing view we'd hoped for of Vineyards, but not a big deal considering all the perks, benefits, and privacy this home provided. We enjoyed our short stay on Redwood Ln. It’s a beautiful home with a lovely and peaceful deck. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The driveway is a bit challenging (steep) depending on your car. The cooking pans need to be replaced, we had trouble finding one in decent condition to make breakfast.-Via VRBO

Comfortable and spacious home in a nice, quiet location surrounded by redwoods. It was perfect for our group of 5 with plenty of room to spread out. Kitchen had all the cookware and utensils we needed and the grill on the large deck was great. The beds and pillows were a bit tired and could use some updating Not quite walkable to restaurants or businesses so be prepared to drive everywhere-via Airbnb

What a lovely home! Great layout for families (especially with a napping child). 5 minute walk to great river beach. Pee wee golf and playground down the street! Lovely deco and fully stocked kitchen. Highly recommend for families. Very kid friendly.-via VRBO

We loved staying in this home! The location was great--just a few minutes drive from town and the river. The house itself is incredibly comfortable (lots of blankets in the living room, for example) and well-appointed. I've stayed in a lot of Air Bnbs and this one has the best-stocked kitchen I've seen. Lots of great pots and pans, glasses, plates, and basic cooking items (spices, oils, etc...). The deck is also amazing--perfect spot for hanging out in the mornings and evenings. This home was very clean, the deck view was gorgeous, everything worked well and the beds were very comfortable. We were very pleased! The house was perfect for our family gathering. The house had everything we needed in the kitchen. And the home was comfortable for us to relax. We used the deck a lot and cooked out a few times. Redwood Retreat is a beautiful home with a wonderful view. It comes with a fully stocked kitchen and other useful amenities such as a gate for the stairs and toiletries. We were accidentally given the wrong access code for check-in, but the office was very responsive and was able to get us the correct code within minutes. This is not a very kid-friendly home as it does not have any games or toys available, but that might also be because of COVID? Our group still had a great stay and would definitely consider returning!-via Airbnb

Highly recommend! I stayed here with five other adults and a dog, and it was very comfortable. We arrived during a heat wave so we **really appreciated** the central air conditioning, shaded deck overlooking the redwoods, and close proximity to the Russian River. The kitchen cupboards were well stocked with dishes, utensils, pots, and pans. The freezer had a mysterious frozen turkey in it, which helped keep our food cold during rotating PG&E outages. ;-) The keycode lock made it easy for our group to enter and exit the house at different times throughout the weekend. Overall a great experience, and we would definitely stay here again.-Via Airbnb

We've stayed over New Year's twice at this house and have loved our stay each time. The house is spacious, nicely-decorated, comfortable and well-equipped. The layout is also great as each bedroom is large and quiet. I especially love the master bathroom--an awesome shower! The house also gets plenty of natural light, which can be rare in the redwoods. It's a bit far from town, but the location is perfectly manageable.

We had a great experience renting the house on Redwood Lane. Tucked behind a vineyard and set among giant Redwood trees, this is a perfect spot to unwind. The master bedroom on the main level was very comfortable with one of the nicest master bathroom showers we have ever seen! The view from the deck is spectacular. We would definitely recommend staying here!

The house and amenities were much better than expected. Slept 8 people comfortably. Was right down the street from a public beach, the grill (and view) were perfect ways to end the evening! Couldn't recommend this house enough for a vacation away from the city. Accessible to downtown as well (5 min drive). Thank you again!

This was our very first time in renting an Air BandB and we loved it! This home is well kept, comfortable, clean, dog friendly, and it felt like home the minute we walked through the door. The location can't be beat, we were close to the Russian River, Redwoods, Wine Country, and the beautiful CA Coast! My only complaint is that we didn't have a chance to do everything on our list......so, guess we will have to come back! A big thank you to our wonderful hosts.

Bottom line, this place is fantastic. We visited in November to celebrate my mother's 50th birthday, and we were blessed with some of the greatest weather. We had 4 guests, and it was definitely plenty big enough for us, and everyone had their own bed. Truth be told, the master bedroom was so big, I think that all four of us could have stayed in there. The kitchen was stocked with all the cookware needed to make breakfast every morning. The view from the deck is gorgeous. It was so nice to step outside on a brisk morning with coffee and take it all in. My personal opinion- the place and view were worth it, however, I will say that getting to this location was a little more difficult than I anticipated. It is fairly out of the way, and down some very narrow, windy roads. That being said, I would not have traded it for a different place based on that, but I think it is worth noting. The hosts were also so gracious as to leave us a bottle of wine. Thank you!-Airbnb Guest-

I stayed here with a group of friends for a girls' weekend getaway. The house has a beautiful deck overlooking a vineyard that we used for yoga, drinking wine, and sipping our morning coffee. The house is perfectly located for access to the quaint town of Guerneville and a beautiful drive to many area attractions. We spa'ed, wine tasted, and hiked. The place was truly in the middle of the redwoods and we enjoyed them so much! The walk to the Russian River was very manageable and the river was lovely, perfect for floating on inflatables. There were a good number of non-perishable food items in the kitchen and we appreciated the welcome bottle of wine.
