Cazadero is a peaceful village located along Austin Creek and amidst towering redwood trees.
This serene location is a top destination for visitors looking to relax and rejuvenate. In the summer, the trees act as natural air-conditioning and Austin Creek is home to a variety of wildlife. Families with small children often prefer the creek with its shallow swimming holes and places to explore.

In the off-season, Cazadero is a popular spot for romantic weekend getaways and writing retreats. The town of Cazadero is very small with just a few businesses, including an old-fashioned country store and an excellent bakery/coffee shop. The establishments of near-by towns are just a short drive away. Duncan’s Mills, Guerneville, and Monte Rio have a number of great restaurants. Duncan’s Mills has a number of boutique shops. Monte Rio has a public beach with boat rentals (June-September), a movie theater and a small store.

Cazadero is 9 miles to Monte Rio, 7 miles to Duncan’s Mills, 12 miles to the Sonoma coast, 12 miles to Guerneville and a short drive to Russian River Valley wineries.
